Registration & Fees
At BeyondCrayons, our licensed home child care providers offer a warm, home-based alternative to large child care centres — with the added peace of mind that comes from agency oversight, regular home visits, and full compliance with Ontario’s Child Care and Early Years Act. Whether you need full-day infant care, before-and-after school support, or occasional weekend and PA day coverage, our rates below reflect the region you’re in and the type of care your child needs.

Enrollment includes a one-time, non-refundable $80 registration fee, which covers onboarding, file setup, and placement with your matched provider. This fee is separate from your regular child care rate and is due once your child has been offered and accepted a spot.
A deposit equal to one week of care is also required at enrollment. This deposit is held for the duration of care and only becomes non-refundable if a family withdraws without providing the required 30 days’ notice.
There’s no charge to join the waiting list — the registration fee applies only once a space is offered and accepted.
Additional Fees
- Late pick-up: A 15-minute grace period is provided after your scheduled pick-up time. After that, a fee of $2.00 for the first 5 minutes applies, then $1.00 per minute. If late pick-up happens more than three times, the fee doubles.
- Extended or additional hours: Care requested beyond your contracted hours (evenings, weekends, or overnight, where available) is billed at an agreed or hourly rate.
- NSF / returned payment: A $45.00 fee applies to any payment returned due to non-sufficient funds.
- Field trip / outing fee: Only charged if a provider organizes an optional outing requiring admission or transport costs. Families are notified in advance.
